How Google Works
ByThis is really kinda amazing! The good folks at Seobook.com created this visual map of exactly how the results of your searches are formulated and end up in your search results whenever you search for something in Google. Considering that it really doesn’t take long, sometimes less than a day, maybe even a few hours, for pages to be indexed and show up in search results, it’s kinda unbelievable that all this stuff goes on and yet your results appear in mere seconds. Of course, it doesn’t all happen before results filter through, some of it is part of the ongoing refining of results over time that determines the page rank and weeds outdated stuff out, but I still think it’s pretty amazing.
